SPRING / SUMMER FISHING REPORTS

OPENING WEEKEND OF FISHING A HUGE SUCCESS - Customers fished at Fishrap Lake, Clear Lake, Badger Lake and Williams Lake.  We had some people limit and back by 11:00 am.  

SPRAGUE LAKE TROUT DERBY - JUNE 9, 2012 - Sprague Lake has some of the best Rainbow Trout Fishing in Washington.  Come win $500 worth of gift cards & merchandise.

Rock Lake - Reports of it being muddy with algae floating on top. The surface temp has been warming up.  Customers report catching 18 to 22 inches.

ROCK CREEK AND THE POTHOLE LAKES ENSURE ABUNDANT FISH AND WILDLIFE - Fishing in the creek from June 1 - October 31, with catch and release and selective gear rules.

CRAB CREEK - Crab Creek is primarily a nymphing stream with a little streamer fly opportunity. The season runs from mid-February until late June, and again from mid-September until about Thanksgiving

EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY GRADUATION - Commencement Saturday June 15th.  GO EAGLES!

SPRAGUE DAYS - July 28th and 29th.  There will be food and vendors in the park, beer garden and band.

BRAWN ON THE LAWN - Car Show, October 6th & 7th

SPOKANE HOOPFEST - Hoopfest is the biggest 3-on-3 street basketball tournament in the world.  June 30th & July 1st.

ST. JOHN'S SPRINT BOAT RACES AT WEBB'S SLOUGH - June 16th and August 25th

BIRDING - During migration, large numbers of waterfowl come through.  In the spring and summer, Ospreys and Willow Flycatchers nest along the shore. Flocks of American White Pelicans can also be found.
