SPRAGUE LAKE - .Ice fishing and ice sailing are finally happening at Sprague lake.  We still need a pretty good freeze.  Open all year.

Rock Lake - Rainbows and German Browns and small mouth bass are being caught on this lake which is open year around.

Downs Lake, east of Sprague on the Lincoln/Spokane county line is closed for the season and will open March 1st.

Amber Lake -  In southwest Spokane County, was stocked with 5,000 rainbows and 1,000 cutthroat trout last May.  Fishing is expected to be great in October.

Coffeepot Lake  - Closed

Williams Lake - Closed

MILLER RANCH HUNTING PRESERVE - Open September to April.  The ranch has an ideal habitat for quality hunting.

BIRDING - During migration, large numbers of waterfowl come through.  In the spring and summer, Ospreys and Willow Flycatchers nest along the shore. Flocks of American White Pelicans can also be found.
